High Output Remote Control Module

This remote/module upgrade is for those who have or intend to have everything we make installed on your Spyder/Ryker/Slingshot.

Upon examining you will notice that the remote is a little different, but functions the same as previous except for more colors.

All remotes and modules are paired so don’t mix them up if you are replacing with an existing.

The module is the real difference. This module comes with two 4-pin connection ports. This enables you to be able to split the power as opposed to powering everything in one side.

Also, once powered you will see a blue service light. That means that power is getting to the module and the lights connected to the module are operating correctly.

If the lights turn off on the Spyder, locate the module and verify the color of light on the module… Blue means the module is powered and everything is good to the module. If there isn’t a light, then the module is not getting power.

If the light is Yellow (read 0n)

1. Something is causing the module to be concerned about a pending short in the wires leading to the module, like a wire that is stripped of coating and rubbing on metal which will ground it and cause a short.

2. There is a bent or pinched wire.

3. The module is being overloaded (which takes 17+ amps)

If a short goes unnoticed, the module will power down to save it’s self from over heating or completely frying causing a total failure. “We have never had one completely fail”

The module has two input connections that allows you to split the power into segments while still using one remote control.

You can select from 20+ different colors and many variations of brightness with the simplicity of pressing a button.

This replaces the standard remote that comes with most of our kits.
