Installation Instructions
1) Open Frunk and remove the Coolant and Diagnostic Cover Panel.
(Lift up on each lower corner to release
the pin and then lift the panel off)
2) Remove the bolt securing the black plastic nose cap
(above the panel you just removed). You remove the top bolt only.
No need to remove the bottom bolt.
*Careful not to drop/lose the nut.

No need to remove the bottom bolt.
*Careful not to drop/lose the nut.
You do NOT need to remove the nose cap. You will only need to pull the bottom of
the nose cap out slightly. If it comes completely off like the picture below that’s
okay. The top snaps into place and the bottom is held by the bolt you removed.
3) Clean the painted plastic lip above the headlights with alcohol. Clean the whole
length from the nose cone to the outside edge of the headlight.

4) Once the alcohol is dry – use the provided primer on the same area.
5) Apply the light strip starting in the outside corner of the headlight – sticking it to the
lip of the painted plastic above (what you just cleaned and primed). The plug wire
should go toward the nose cap.

should go toward the nose cap.
6) Pull out on the nose cap bottom and route the plug wire into the upper center corner
of the headlight behind the nose cap and down inside the nose cap out below where
the bolt goes through.
Repeat Step 6 for the other side.
7) Route both wires out the bottom of the nose cap and carefully insert the bolt back
into the nose cap. Don’t drop the nut.
8) Route the wires toward the Light Controller and install the plug splitter provided.
Connect everything and ensure the lights are working as expected.
9) Reinstall the Coolant and Diagnostic Cover Panel,
close the Frunk, and admire your work.
